Maintenance-free PILLOBALL Rod Ends: PILLOBALLs are compact self-aligning spherical bushings that can support a large radial load and a bi-directional axial load at the same time. The rod ends have either a female thread in the body or a male thread on the body, and they can be easily assembled onto machines. This maintenance free type has superior anti-corrosion properties as the body is zinc chromate treated and the spherical inner ring is chromium plated on the sphere surface after heat treatment and grinding. A special PTFE liner, reinforced with copper alloy meshes, which is superior in anti-wear properties with little creep deformation is used for lining on the sliding surface of the body.
