SSUCFL or SFT Series 2 Bolt Oval Stainless Steel Housings: Bearing unit supplied with a fully sealed stainless steel bearing insert fitted in the oval stainless housing and includes a grease nipple to facilitate re-lubrication. The bearing insert has 2 grub screws to allow tightening against the shaft once fitted. The inserts (available separately) can be removed from the housings for future replacement as required Benefits: Cost effective bearing / housing assembly, re-lubricatable, replaceable insert, grub screw fixing Note: These bearings will eventually corrode in a marine environment and it is recommended to completely cover with grease or similar protection where practical. Due to the material requirements of these bearings to have a hard-wearing construction, they will be made of a harder form of Stainless Steel, such as 440 or similar, which will be attracted by magnets. Quotations for non-magnetic versions are available upon request. |
