SW4 Snap Ring to Suit 4mm Shaft

Flat Wire Snap Rings for internal bores and housings: These snap rings are designed to fit into grooves machined into a bore or housing. Once fitted into the groove the portion of the ring protruding from the groove serves to retain components into place, one such example would be to position bearings in a housing by their outer raceway. It is not uncommon for 2 grooves to be machined in housing such that bearings can be installed up against the inner snap ring and then once the outer ring is fitted it is retained and located.
The snap rings are made from SAE 1065 carbon steel hardened to HRC 45-52
