Description
Tensioner Arm for Chain or Belt Drives: The SE tensioning arm is the mostly used standard for tensioning all kinds of chain & belt drives. According to application, the tensioner arm is supplemented with the appropriate idler sprocket for chain drives or idler roller for belt drives. (sold separately) The tensioning element is based on the rubber spring principle, its inserts are a high elastic natural rubber with a good shape memory. They also provide effective absorption of vibrations. With chain drives they prevent the polygon effect on the slack side and run tautly and run almost silently and effectively dissipates vibration while reducing wear on rollers and bearings.When used with belt drives aids the belts to transmit a constant torque by compensating for belt lengthening and preventing over-heating and excessive slipping. The unit is designed for applications in a temperature range from -40 C to +80 C.
